Come & See Visits
"Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said to them
"What do you seek?" And they said to Him,
"Rabbi, where are you staying?"
He said to them, "Come and see."
They came and saw where He was staying and they
stayed with Him that day." - John 1:38-39
What is a Come and See visit?
Over these days you will have the opportunity to live alongside the sisters
and experience their day-to-day life:
Praying with the Sisters
Sharing their community life
Serving the poor and experiencing their apostolate
We have found that the women most ready to begin discernment with our community:

Are 18-35 years of age

Are spending time with Jesus in daily prayer, especially with the scriptures and in silence

Are in good health physically, mentally and emotionally

Have lived a faithful sacramental life in the Catholic Church for at least 2-3 years
-
If you are a convert to the Catholic Church, we ask you to wait 2-3 years after entering the Church before beginning discernment so that you can grow deeply in your Catholic identity
What is the Next Step?
If you are interested in beginning discernment with us, the best first step is to complete the Come and See Inquiry Form. Upon receiving your form,
the Vocation Directress or European Vocation Assistant will contact you
regarding how she can accompany you in your discernment.
Our Come and See visits take place at Our Lady Queen of Angels Convent in
New York City from Wednesday - Sunday through the months of November – May.
For women in Europe or surrounding countries, we also host
Come and See visits at our convent in Drogheda, Ireland.
