St. Anthony Convent

At the invitation of the Bishop of Meath and the encouragement of Cardinal Dolan, we felt honored to open our first convent in Ireland on the Solemnity of the Assumption of Our Lady, August 15, 2013. The sisters live in St. Mary's Parish, Drogheda (not far from Dublin), where they run a youth group throughout the year, a Summer Life program, visit the nursing homes and are a regular presence in the Catholic schools leading adoration and preparing the children for holy Mass. The sisters in Ireland, like all CFR sisters, have a missionary heart and are not strangers to travel. They gladly travel throughout the country for Youth 2000 retreats, parish missions and to respond to a variety of invitations to share the Gospel and give witness to the joy of being called to be the spouse of Christ.
