Thanks be to God! September 12th was a day of many a "yes" to the Lord! The following are photos from each part of the day:
"Anamaria and Erin .... My dear Sisters, by your Baptism, God has already granted you a participation in His own Trinitarian life, a communion of self-emptying love. As you are received as a postulant in the Community of the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, are you resolved for the love of God to "take up your cross and follow Christ," in the manner of our Holy Father Saint Francis, so as to live more fully a life of self-emptying love? "
"Following the example of our Holy Father Saint Francis, who often said: "Let us begin to serve the Lord God because until now we have made little or no progress," let us, dear sisters, pray to God, our Father, to give us the grace to persevere in our resolutions. Let us pray to Him for these our sisters who are resolved to renew their vows today in the presence of the Church... Lord, look upon Your servants whom You have called in Your providence to be perfect as the Gospel teaches. In Your mercy, grant that they may persevere to the end along the way of Your love on which they have set out with such joy. We ask this through Christ our Lord."
"Lord, look kindly on your servant: Sr. Juan - Maria, we send her forth as a messenger of salvation and peace, marked with the sign of the cross. Guide her steps with your mighty arm and with the power of your grace strengthen them in spirit, so that she will not falter through weariness. Make her words the echo of Christ's voice, so that all those who hear her may be drawn to obey the Gospel. Fill the heart of your missionary with the Holy Spirit,
so that, becoming all things to all people, she may lead many to you, the Father of all,
