The Grace of Being Here

Behold, Lord, here I am.

Here, letting go in faith

Not looking ahead at what may be

Nor lingering behind in what once was

But behold, Lord, here, here I am.

Here is now, this moment

In Your love

In Your will

Sheltered in grace

In this present place

Behold, Lord, here I am.

Here I am in a school of hope

Here, relying on Thee

Here, learning I am free

Behold, Lord, here I am.

And it is here that I behold You

Here with me.
